What was the vision for this home?
This was a third home designed to comfortably sleep three generations—without ever feeling crowded. The goal was a true retreat: bright, calm, and polished, with every space feeling finished and easy to live in.

What kind of project was this?
This was a full rebuild—taken down to the dirt and built back up. My role focused on the interior direction: creating a cohesive style story, refining the selections, and bringing the furnishings and finishing layers together so the home felt complete.

How would you describe the overall design style?
Effortless coastal-modern—clean lines, high-bright finishes, and a relaxed elegance that still feels elevated. It’s light and airy, but grounded with tailored details and strong, simple shapes.

How did you approach a home designed for three generations?
The design needed to feel cohesive, but also flexible. We created shared tones and materials throughout the home so everything feels connected—then we allowed each room to have its own subtle personality so guests feel like they have their own “suite.”

What makes the bedrooms feel so hotel-like?
Consistency and restraint. Each bedroom follows the same palette and overall design language, but with variations in bedding, furniture silhouettes, and styling—so the home feels curated, not copy-and-paste.

How did you keep the rooms cohesive without making them identical?
We repeated the foundation: consistent wall tones, textures, and an overall calm palette—then shifted the layers. One room might lean lighter and more serene, another slightly richer or more tailored, but everything still speaks the same design language.

What details made the biggest impact on the finished look?
The finishing layers: bedding, lighting, window treatments, rugs, and furniture proportions. That’s where a home stops feeling like “new construction” and starts feeling like a true retreat.

What was it like collaborating with the client’s general contractor?
Very streamlined. The client had their GC in place, and I collaborated within that structure—supporting decisions, guiding style consistency, and making sure the interior finish and furnishing choices stayed aligned as the home came together.

What did Mosaic Luxe manage on a project like this?
Style direction, selections, and the full furnishing finish—from layout refinement and sourcing through final layers like textiles, lighting, and styling—so the home feels polished, cohesive, and ready to enjoy.

What was the end result?
A rebuilt multi-generational retreat that lives like a luxury hotel—calm, consistent, elevated—and completely ready for real life, entertaining, and long weekends with the entire family.

What was the vision for this home?
A clean-lined contemporary home with warmth—designed to feel polished and calm, but never flat. The goal was “personality with pause”: curated moments, negative space, and a confident, edited finish.

How would you describe the overall style?
Modern and tailored, with warm neutrals and crisp contrast. The palette stays quiet so the shapes, textures, and statement pieces can do the talking—without turning the home into a showroom.

What made this project feel custom?
The mix. We layered sleek architectural choices with bold art, sculptural lighting, and selective pattern—so the home feels collected, not decorated.

Where does the “Maldives” influence show up?
In the mood: airy, modern, relaxed. It’s not themed—it’s a feeling. Bright, clean spaces with warmth, natural flow, and intentional simplicity.

What are the statement moments in this home?
The graphic dining room wallcovering, the oversized art, and the bar moment—each one adds edge and personality, while the rest of the home stays calm and clean.

How do you keep bold choices from feeling overwhelming?
By giving them room. The statements are strategic—anchored by quiet surroundings, consistent tones, and plenty of visual breathing space.

How do you create a home that feels elevated but livable?
We keep the foundation practical—durable finishes, comfortable layouts, easy-maintenance materials—then elevate with lighting, styling, and tailored design choices that still work for real life.

What does “Signature Project™” mean in a project like this?
Full leadership from concept through completion—design direction, selections, sourcing, and execution oversight—so the finished home feels cohesive, intentional, and complete.

What was the end result?
A modern home with warmth and edge—calm at first glance, with layered details that reveal themselves over time. Quiet luxury, with personality.

Highland Beach Penthouse

Oceanfront calm with airy textures and elevated simplicity.

Oceanfront living room with panoramic windows, calm neutral seating, and elevated coastal styling
Oceanfront dining room with modern chandelier, coastal palette, and expansive water views
Oceanfront primary bedroom with soft coastal tones, tailored bedding, and airy layered textures
Oceanfront powder bath with blue botanical wallpaper, crisp white vanity, and coastal modern finishes

What was the vision for this home?
This penthouse needed to feel like a true exhale—bright, calm, and quietly elevated. The goal was to honor the oceanfront setting without leaning too coastal, so every choice stayed clean, airy, and intentional.

What makes this space feel “South Florida” without feeling themed?
It’s all in the restraint. Light, natural materials. A palette that stays soft and modern. Texture over pattern. And polished finishes that reflect light beautifully—so the home feels fresh, serene, and timeless.

What was the biggest transformation?
Editing. We refined what competed with the view, simplified the layout visually, and layered in pieces that feel tailored—so the rooms read calm, cohesive, and finished.

How do you balance comfort with high-end design?
Luxury should never feel delicate. I focus on performance fabrics, durable finishes, and livable layouts—so the home feels elevated, but you can actually relax in it.

How do you make a home feel cohesive when there are many rooms and decisions?
We build a clear design direction early—then every finish, furnishing, and material follows that same point of view. That’s what creates the “it all makes sense” feeling when you walk through the home.

What details make this project feel custom?
Clean-lined millwork, intentional lighting, elevated textures, and pieces that feel collected—not showroom. The result is understated luxury that feels personal, not packaged.

Can you work with some existing furniture or art?
Yes. Many projects begin with pieces clients already love. I’ll design around what’s worth keeping, elevate what needs upgrading, and make sure everything blends seamlessly.

What’s the biggest value of working with a designer on a project like this?
Speed + certainty. You’re not guessing, re-buying, or second-guessing choices. I guide decisions so they feel confident and aligned—and the finished home feels complete, not “almost there.”

Do you manage vendors and trades in Guided Design projects?
Yes. Guided Design is structured support with professional oversight—so the project stays clean, selections stay cohesive, and the execution matches the vision.

What was the vision for this renovation?
A full-scale transformation designed around openness, light, and an existing art collection. The goal was to create calm, gallery-like space—without losing warmth or livability.

What makes this home feel “Signature”?
It was a true renovation rebuild—major architectural updates, full design direction, and a high level of finish throughout. Every detail was considered so the final result feels cohesive, tailored, and complete.

How would you describe the style?
Polished contemporary with tailored restraint. Clean lines, open space, and intentional contrast—so the home feels elevated, not busy.

How did the art collection influence the design?
The art led the conversation. We kept the palette quiet and the architecture clean so the pieces could feel intentional and powerful—like the home was designed specifically for them.

What was the biggest transformation?
Opening up the interior flow and reworking the layout for modern living—so the spaces feel larger, brighter, and easier to move through. The finished home reads clean, connected, and expansive.

How do you design open spaces so they still feel grounded?
By using scale, anchoring furniture, and repetition. Even in an open plan, we create “zones” so the home feels structured, comfortable, and finished—not floating.

What gives this project its personality?
The balance of calm architecture with high-impact moments—art, lighting, and select statement pieces. It’s confident, collected, and never generic.

What did Mosaic Luxe handle in this renovation?
Full design leadership—from overall direction and key selections to finishes, styling, and final layer decisions—bringing the entire home together so it feels intentional and complete.
