This was a third home designed to comfortably sleep three generations—without ever feeling crowded. The goal was a true retreat: bright, calm, and polished, with every space feeling finished and easy to live in.

This was a full rebuild—taken down to the dirt and built back up. My role focused on the interior direction: creating a cohesive style story, refining the selections, and bringing the furnishings and finishing layers together so the home felt complete.

How did you approach a home designed for three generations?
The design needed to feel cohesive, but also flexible. We created shared tones and materials throughout the home so everything feels connected—then we allowed each room to have its own subtle personality so guests feel like they have their own “suite.”
What makes the bedrooms feel so hotel-like?
Consistency and restraint. Each bedroom follows the same palette and overall design language, but with variations in bedding, furniture silhouettes, and styling—so the home feels curated, not copy-and-paste.
How did you keep the rooms cohesive without making them identical?
We repeated the foundation: consistent wall tones, textures, and an overall calm palette—then shifted the layers. One room might lean lighter and more serene, another slightly richer or more tailored, but everything still speaks the same design language.
What details made the biggest impact on the finished look?
The finishing layers: bedding, lighting, window treatments, rugs, and furniture proportions. That’s where a home stops feeling like “new construction” and starts feeling like a true retreat.
What was it like collaborating with the client’s general contractor?
Very streamlined. The client had their GC in place, and I collaborated within that structure—supporting decisions, guiding style consistency, and making sure the interior finish and furnishing choices stayed aligned as the home came together.

Editing. We refined what competed with the view, simplified the layout visually, and layered in pieces that feel tailored—so the rooms read calm, cohesive, and finished.

Luxury should never feel delicate. I focus on performance fabrics, durable finishes, and livable layouts—so the home feels elevated, but you can actually relax in it.

We build a clear design direction early—then every finish, furnishing, and material follows that same point of view. That’s what creates the “it all makes sense” feeling when you walk through the home.
